FAQ

What do I need to bring?

You should bring a tent, sleeping bag, and related camping gear. We might also be able to provide a tent or arrange sharing a tent with another runner. And of course bring appropriate running gear. You should also bring any particular snacks and drinks if you like something special.

How fast of a runner do I need to be?

You should have some experience running trails, be able to run at least 5 miles, and average a 15 minute mile pace on trails. All runs will have multiple distance and pace options, and we will never leave a runner behind.

Will I really be able to run this much over the weekend?

Typically during a training camp, you can run 2-3x more than you would in a typical weekend. We’ll help you be prepared for the weekend ahead of time with some guidelines for training leading up to the camp. We’ll have good food and recovery equipment to keep your body prepared. And you’ll be able to just focus on your training for the whole weekend, with no other chores or stress to zap your energy. You’ll be surprised what you can do! And you can always opt out of any training session and just enjoy some down time.

What if I need to cancel?

For cancellations prior to May 15 we will provide a full refund. For cancellations after this date, we will do our best to return any portion of your fee that we have not already committed to expenses related to your participation, or you can transfer your registration to another runner.

Can I bring a partner that won’t participate in the camp?

Absolutely! Please contact us and we can make arrangements that meet your needs.
